Departure in front of the Basilica of Sainte Jeanne-Antide. Reach the church of Sancey by the soft route, then engage in the wood of Ouche; turn left and stay on the edge of the wood until you reach the pretty little site of the Dwarfs.
Descend to the bottom of the small valley of La Baume and go up the course of the left bank river. Behind a small chalet, go up towards the forest track to a footbridge that crosses the stream. From there, you can go to the cave of La Baume.
Go down along the stream by the small fishermen’s path to the forest track which goes up towards the Acanthe subdivision. Cross the Maîche road, follow the fence to the monument of the Virgin. At the bottom of the Bois des Epesses, possibility of climbing to the magnificent point of view of Roche Bleue (sporty climb!).
We find at the bottom of the slope the normal circuit then the loop 1 (historic path of Belvoir) passing in front of the cheese dairy (regional products).
